TOTS 25
After two days of great riding a good idea (adventure) turned into a tooth rattling experience when we decided to take Jollies Pass after considering Jacks Pass “a little slippery”
About the event
Held over four days, the ride was a combination of sealed and unsealed (some more unsealed than others) roads.
Six of us set out early from Wellington to Picton on the Bluebridge ferry. A smooth sailing with coffee and breakfast (yes a meat pie can be breakfast) to set us up for the day.
The kind people at the Picton Beachcomber Inn allowed us to store our baggage so we could set out on the first leg of the adventure. A loop east from Picton on Waikawa Road led us to Port Underwood Road and our first photo opportunity.

About Picton
Picton is lovely little town that plays hosts to all tourists travelling north or south between New Zealand’s two biggest islands (creatively named the North Island, and the South Island).
With restaurants, bars, cafe’s a waterfront park, live street music and a damn good second book store, this place has something for everyone.
